The three main things we need to know about the internet are:
♥ Never to give out your personal details to people you don’t know
♥ Not everything you see on the internet is true and you have to use your own judgement to decide wether you think it is or not
♥ There is alot of helpful information on the internet but you should use other resources as well because it might not be true
Our class were asked the question “Can One Person Change The World?” and to help us decide we watched a video and listened to a song.
The video we watched was called “Free Hugs” which is about a man who walks around the street with a sign saying ‘free hugs’. At first nobody gave him a hug but eventually when one person did, alot of other people started hugging him as well. After a while, the police banned free hugs and then a petition was made. Their target was 10, 000 signatures and when they reached their goal, free hugs was back. After the man made this video, other people started doing the same thing, making their own ‘free hugs’ signs.
The song we listened to was called “I Wish I Was a Punk Rocker (With Flowers in my Hair)” by Sandi Thom. In the song, she sings about how she wishes the world could be a simpler place like in 1977 and 1969.
Three reason why one person couldn’t change the world:
<3 People might not listen to them
<3 They might not be able to get the exposure they need e.g. internet, radio, TV
<3 They might not have the resources e.g money
Three reasons why one person could change the world:
<3 Some people would listen and spread the idea
<3 Most people have access to media e.g internet, TV, radio
<3 Sometimes if one person has a good idea, other people catch on and start taking action
After all this, I think that one person CAN change the world.

I think we worked well together because we got everything done on time and we finished the whole thing.
What have I enjoyed most about IT this term?
I enjoyed using Kahootz because it looks awesome and it’s fun to make and you can express yourself through it.
What would I like to learn more about next term?
I would like to learn more about using Kahootz.

I dnt think using slang in txt msgs and emails iz a problem becoz it makez it quicka 2 rite stuff an ur not spendin loads ov time ritin da hole wordz out.
I dnt think kids shud use the abbreviations in skool work tho coz it duznt get u very good marks if u do.

I am “well balanced” in all my learning styles.
The two things I rely on most are:
The computer because I can talk to my friends on MSN, buy stuff on eBay, search for pix and download music.
My mobile phone because I can talk to my friends and family.
Heres what I’ve been doing in my digital portfolio lately:
I’ve made more slides for all the different things we have to have. I’ve changed some of the colours and made all the backgrounds of the slides different designs, I’ve put all the links in and I’m going to put some more pictures on the first page because it’s abit plain at the moment.
I chose the colours black, white and pink to use in my digital portfolio because they look good and when you change the design of the backgrounds, it makes it look more interesting.
